I had a great time self picking flowers at my own pace. I got to take beautiful pictures & managed to make to bouquet at home with a pound of flowers. I also brought home a delicious tomato; I made a BLT when I got home.

Amazing pick your own flowers farm stand!! I took my 5 month old daughter and the rows of flowers were stunning AND accessible with a stroller. Large variety of colors and types of flowers too. There were also PYO own veggies with signs indicating what’s ready to be picked. It was a wonderful afternoon mommy and daughter activity! I’ll be doing it every year.

The sweetest PYO flower and veggie farm!!! My husband and I come a couple times per year as a fun mini date night. You can get enough flowers to make two medium sized vases for about $10! Can’t beat that! Make sure you bring cash or check. I wish they had Venmo!!

Petersen's flower farm is located in South Windsor. My boys and I went flower picking, it's such a fun summer activity. It's definitely my new favorite flower farm, it's affordable too. I think they are open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. The farm is fully self serve. They provide buckets and clippers but I brought my own. It is cash, check, and venmo only. The flowers are $8 a pound. There is a farm stand with a couple of veggies and a scale. Once you weigh your flowers, you can put your payment in the lock box. The property is gorgeous and so many flowers to choose from. The colors were vibrant and the flowers were healthy. My boys and I enjoyed this activity and highly recommend.

Went here with my fiance for the first time today. We were the only ones there. So many beautiful flowers in bloom. So peaceful. Flowers are $8 per pound, very reasonable. Got a nice variety and enjoyed a walk through the corn stalks. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend! Thank you Petersen for providing this gem.
